We're in! This is our third weekend here and it's pretty much sorted. Only a few empty boxes left lying around and the occasional bit of furniture that hasn't found a proper home yet (hello huge loft space, would you like a table and a chair?)

A few pictures taken this morning. A little bare and still determinedly magnolia but oh so lovely and OURS!

Having been packing or unpacking or cleaning or sorting or shopping every weekend for about a month it has been so nice to finally have a little time on this very welcome long weekend to get out and explore. And that's just what we did this morning.

Waterfalls galore, trickling streams, hidden away lakes, moss covered everything, crags and caves and trees for miles around and right on our doorstep. And you see that little dot of a terrace hiding in the trees in the pictures above? Well, the one on the right, at the end of the row that you can hardly see at all...Yep, you guessed it...it's home.
